Yesterday was my 30th birthday. I spent it the way that anyone would. Shopping and dinner with family. Most would consider a birthday as a day with permission to overindulge and I considered it. Went to dinner at Chili's. Very easy to make not so good choices.
I went the day with dinner as an expectation, so I kept a close eye on what I took in through the day. Yes, I went over my calorie budget, but I am aware of it and know why I did... not out of caring, but with caution.

While at dinner, they were telling me "It's your birthday" and I wasn't going to use that as an excuse to pig out so I was a little wiser with my choices. If not for the margarita and dessert, I would have been right on track.
